As the front line of the marina, our Dock Staff at Moon River Marine create first impressions that last. We’re looking for friendly, energetic individuals who enjoy working outdoors, interacting with customers, and being part of a fast-paced, team-focused environment on the water.
Key Responsibilities:
- Docking Assistance: Guide boaters to slips, tie up vessels, and assist with docking/undocking for transient and seasonal guests.
- Fueling and Service: Operate fuel pumps for gasoline, help guests load and unload boats
- Customer Service: Greet boaters, process payments (cash, credit, debit), and provide information on facility
- Maintenance: Clean docks, empty trash, maintain washrooms, and ensure the overall cleanliness of the marina.
- Safety and Security: Report fuel spills, conduct regular dock walks, and enforce safety regulations.
- Reservations: Use POS systems/calendar to take taxi reservations and check in/out visitors.
